These are a few video projects I’m proud to have been involved with when I worked with Taproot Pictures and some photos I took for their merch.
1000 Mile Dream is a documentary I’m extremely proud to have been a part of. We shot a documentary of a dogsledder getting ready to race in the UP 500 in order to qualify for the Iditarod. I was involved in many aspects of production, from storytelling to lighting interviews and handling audio recording. Production during the winter was a challenge, but the resulting powerful story, awards, and the Vimeo Staff Pick made it all worth it.
A Fairlife Story was a brand documentary we made for the farm that was responsible for Fairlife Milk. On this I served as a production assistant, helping the camera and audio department record interviews and b-roll footage.
An Old Man’s Game was another short documentary I helped make about an elderly man and his Christmas tree farm. I recorded the audio and handled the lighting. This was a fun two day shoot where we interviewed the owner and documented his work process during the summer.
I took these photos for Taproot Pictures logo change. Taproot Pictures had a gritty, work-hard play-hard attitude I wanted to capture with a street-style skateboarding aesthetic.
